Warfield Makes Championship Cut
August 2nd saw Simon Warfield sew up first place at the Reubens Landey tournament at the BCC. This tournament is a qualifier from the BCC Championship, and Simon assured himself of a place in the championship with his score of 4 out of 5. Simon gave up draws to Walter Driscoll and David Glickman, but defeated Jason Rihel, Alex Slive, and Christopher Williams. There was a three-way tie for second place: Alex Slive, David Glickman, and Christopher Williams all tallied scores of 3.5 out of 5.
