Drawing of Lots

Lots were drawn by computer last night prior to the first round with the following results:

2. Riordan
3. Cherniack
4. Glickman
5. Mac Intyre
6. Williams
7. Chase
8. Slive

Because the Championship is a single round robin with eight players the drawing of lots determines colors against each opponent and which players receive the white pieces more (or less) often. In this case players 1-4 will receive 4 whites, while players 5-8 will receive 4 blacks.
